– Tamu is a rough coated Podenco Ibicenco (Spanish Ibizan hound) found in a Spanish garden center as a puppy and taken to a rescue there, where he was raised by the staff and volunteers, who described him as kind, sweet, and extremely social and friendly.
– When he arrived to us earlier this year we also found that to be true and continue to find it to be true: Tamu has been very friendly, outgoing, good with all the other dogs here, friendly immediately upon arrival, gregarious with our visitors, and overall a very easy dog. He loves his walks though does pull quite a bit still.
– He is about 2 years old, housetrained, and usually quiet though he will bark if there is something to be barked at, such as a stranger outside.

– Considered the sweetie of the shelter from which he came, clowny Ripple is about 1.5 years old. Ripple is a Podenco Canario (Spanish for Canarian hound),
– which the Europeans like to describe as a combination of an Ibizan hound (Podenco Ibicenco) and a Galgo Espanol (Spanish Greyhound). Ripple adores his humans.
– He is very cuddly and affectionate as well as silly/playful, and we think he may have springs for ankles. 🙂 He’s super sweet, smart, and a big love.
– He is shy around new people and has some fears we are working on.
